In Double Trouble, children have the opportunity to focus on the target grapheme ‘ou’ and its phonemes /ow/, /u/, and /ew/. Players will also review the alphabet sounds and the digraphs ‘sh’, ‘ch’, ‘th’, ‘er’, and ‘ng’, along with words ending in ‘le’ and ‘se’, and the grapheme ‘y’ (as /ee/).

To excel in this game, a group of two to four players should have a strong grasp of these alphabet code elements, the ability to read words with syllables, and knowledge of decoding words containing a schwa.

Get ready to dive into the exciting world of Double Trouble and put your phonetic and reading skills to the test!
