‘Pickle’ offers an exciting challenge for two to four players to decode more difficult words than they have been reading during their formal lessons.

While the game will revise the alphabet sounds, and the digraphs ‘el’, ‘ar’, ‘or’, ‘ur’, and ‘er’, the targeted focus is reading words with multiple closed syllables that end in ‘e’.

In order to read the words contained in this game, the children will also need to be confident with mid-word schwas.
