These Handwriting Cards support the explicit teaching and revision of correct letter formation within a structured literacy approach.
 
The resource is divided into five sets, together covering all alphabet letters, and includes two versions of the letter k (print and cursive) for instructional flexibility.
 
Each set focuses on a small group of graphemes (for example, l, t, i, j, u, and y) and is designed for teacher-led use. The cards are designed to give children the opportunity to form letters correctly and link the grapheme with its phoneme. 
 
For each grapheme, four cards provide a clear progression from introduction to supported and independent practice, with opportunities for revision of previously taught letters.
