This is the second of many ‘Steal!’ games. This instalment deepens the exploration of the alphabet sounds with a focus on mastering blending three sounds together, including a couple of tricky end blends. Many of these words are of high frequency. 
 
To play this game, you will need between two and four players who have a good grasp of the alphabet sounds and the ability to blend three sounds together.
 
You can also adapt ‘Steal!’ to fit perfectly with the knowledge of the players involved. For example, if a child is not yet confident with end blends, simply withdraw the red group of words. That is true for any of the word sets included.
