Introducing the first edition of our Sound Hunt card games!

This particular game focuses on the graphemes ‘l’, ‘t’, ‘f’, ‘i’, ‘j’, ‘u’, ‘y’, ‘v’, and ‘w’, challenging participants to pinpoint the initial sounds of various objects or animals.

Sound Hunt is a remarkably flexible game, offering four alternative ways to play. Your choice depends on whether you want to focus on sounds (phonemes) to symbols (graphemes) or vice versa, as well as the number of players in the mix.

To dive into the game, kids should be familiar with the specified graphemes and have the knack for isolating initial sounds within spoken words. We recommend Sound Hunt for groups of two to six players.

The objects and animals contained in this file are: ladybird, log, lollipop, teddy, tomato, tie, fish, fork, flower, insect, igloo, iguana, jar, jigsaw, jam, up, under, umbrella, yellow, yam, yoyo, violin, vacuum, van, world, watermelon, and worm.
