Match-up is a fun, quick memory game that encourages children to construct and read compound words made from CVC patterns. During the game, the compound words created can be either real or silly, and the sillier, the better!

This game serves as a review of closed syllables and acts as a stepping stone to reading words with more than one syllable.

Match-up is suitable for up to three players. Players will need to know their alphabet sounds and be able to blend together at least three sounds.

This file includes two games.
